Abstractia Theme for WordPress

February 25th, 2007 by George Notaras

Abstractia is a new inspired theme for WordPress, designed by Rob.

The theme implements a clean layout and a colour combination which makes the reader feel comfortable with the website, before even starting reading the content. Also, the clever arrangement of the various content blocks makes it easy to interact and navigate. Although I am not a web designer, I can say this theme succeeds in many areas and has great potential.

Furthermore, Abstractia uses my simple-recent-comments code in order to display the recent comments. As I have written in older posts, I am very happy when talented designers use my plugin code in wordpress themes.

Download the theme here.

PS: I have begun to maintain a list of themes that use the simple recent comments plugin code. Feel free to contact me if I have missed any (I am sure I have).

Thanks for the mention. I’m glad your plugin exists. It definitely fills a need that the core WordPress functionality doesn’t address.

Hi, I also thank you for using the small piece of code I have written in an awesome theme.
