Why am I posting Linux Tips?

October 14th, 2005 by George Notaras

One could wonder why I am posting linux tips. There are numerous web sites out there that have posted or even reposted these tips, so, why another repost?

Well, the reason is very simple. The blogging system can serve as a perfect database system for notes, where everything can be categorized and searched. It’s the best way that I have found so far to keep all the important notes together, so that I do not lose them. Furthermore, these personal notes can be read/searched by others from the web.

As time passes I realize that blogs are really important. There are millions of blogs out there covering different kinds of topics, but one thing is for sure: they contain tons of useful info. I definetely recommend trying it out in your home server or at one of the free blogging services.
